For ESG community engagement, the Company defines its primary “community” scope as Hsinchu County and City and Taipei City, where our major operations are located. In alignment with our commitment to regional inclusion, adjacent counties and cities are also incorporated into our community care scope to broaden our support and outreach.
Massage Week with Visually Impaired Therapists: Wellness Care × Inclusive Employment
Etron partners with the “Hand-in-Hand Love Association” on a quarterly basis to host the “Professional Eye Care Massage Week,” inviting licensed visually impaired massage therapists to provide onsite services. This initiative supports employee well-being while promoting stable and meaningful employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
Supporting Rural Schools: Campus Revitalization × Community Care
Etron sponsored the “Campus Wall Painting and Renovation Project” at Longsheng Elementary School in Miaoli County, contributing a total of NTD 24,306 for renovation work and painting materials. Employees and their families were invited to join the volunteer activity, with 45 participants supporting the enhancement of a friendly and engaging learning environment for children.
Supporting Children’s Homes: Agricultural Volunteering × Child Well-being
Etron collaborated with the “Beyond Happiness Children’s Welfare Association” to advance the “Loving Rice Field” initiative, contributing a total of NTD 118,000 and providing rice and produce boxes to children’s homes. This program supports the daily needs of disadvantaged children while fostering community connectedness through agricultural engagement activities.

Tree Planting Activity: Community Greening × Hands-on Planting
Etron Technology participated in Hsinchu County Government’s “Tree Planting Points” Arbor Day initiative, inviting employees and their families, with a total of 187 participants. During the event, participants planted trees by hand, enhancing greenery and actively engaging in environmental protection activities. Through such initiatives, the company demonstrates its commitment to ecological protection and encourages employees to implement sustainable environmental practices in daily life, contributing to the health and sustainability of local ecosystems.
Beach Cleanup: Clean Coast × Ecological Protection
Etron Technology supported the 2024 Ocean Initiative “Travel Without Plastic” organized by the Hsinchu Branch of the Wild Bird Society of the Republic of China, contributing NTD 80,000. Employees actively participated in beach cleanups, removing coastal waste, reducing plastic pollution, and protecting marine ecosystems. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to ocean and environmental sustainability and encourages employees to integrate sustainable practices into daily life, safeguarding local ecology and marine resources.
Support Local Farmers: Sustainable Agriculture × Nurtured with Care
Etron hosts monthly charity pop-up sales, inviting local farmers and non-profit organizations to set up stalls at the company. During these events, employees and their families actively participate, with total sales amounting to NTD 132,064. Through these initiatives, the company supports local farmers in generating stable income while assisting non-profits in raising resources, effectively combining social care with economic support.
Promote development and application of technological innovation
Etron afflicated company supports New Taipei City government to develop the “Epidemic Prevention Assistant” APP
“Epidemic Prevention Assistant” APP provides multiple functions like epidemic alert map, personal footprint comparison, store crowdedness and risk notification. APP will issue a notice if user is within 100m of the last 14 days of diagnosed footprint for risk alert, prevention and cutting invisible transmission chains.
New Taipei City Mayor You-yi Hou commented on 2/21/2022 that, besides the disclosure of diagnosed footprint with only locations, the “Epidemic Prevention Assistant” APP can provide much more detail information to alert people.
