Since 2008, Etron‘s automotive DRAM has been mass-produced and sold to Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese automotive customers for automotive electronics. Recently, it is also sold to EU and US automotive customers.
The main automotive applications of Etron’s automotive DRAM include CD, DVD, automotive HDD, navigation, instrument cluster, audio, automotive camera, automotive infotainment, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Etron’s automotive DRAM product line covers 16Mb-512Mb SDR, 64Mb-1Gb DDR1, 128Mb-2Gb DDR2, 512Mb-8Gb DDR3, and 256Mb LPDDR2.
Etron’s automotive DRAMs are AEC-Q100 compliant which ensures high quality and reliability in harsh environments. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) summarized packages can be prepared for targeted products upon automotive customer’s request. All production processes are controlled and documented by standard automotives PPAPs.
Intel’s suppliers are recognized for superior quality levels, and Etron has won the Intel SSQA-Lite Supplier Certified Etron’s QMS in compliance with ISO/9001. IATF 16949 requirements and all of our subcontractors in our automotive production lines are fully IATF 16949 certified. To meet the most stringent automotive industry expectations, Etron can meet or exceed the requirements defined in the AEC-Q100 standard.

We have designed automotive grade memory parts to provide predictable obsolescence cycles for a variety of memory densities and package types. EML (Extended Manufacturing Life) guarantees availability for devices put into the EML program. The program boasts three primary life categories (5, 7, and 10 years). The program is designed for long term customer support. Other categories may be available to support unique requests.
