Etron Technology (GTSM: 5351) today announced that its net sales for September 2007 totaled NT$1,286 million (US$39 million), hitting a historical record high. The September sales increased by 2.8% from NT$1,251million (US$38 million) for August 2007 and were up 16.9% from NT$1,100 million (US$33 million) for September 2006.
Revenues for the third quarter of this year reached NT$3,701 million (US$113 million), also marking a historical record high. Revenues from July through September grew 15.5% compared to NT$3,204 million (US$97 million) of the previous quarter, and were up 36.9% compared to NT$2,705 million (US$82 million) for the third quarter of last year.
Accumulated revenues from January through September of this year hit NT$9,780 million (US$297 million), also the highest in history. The accumulated revenues rose 35.2% from NT$7,235 million (US$223 million) for the same period of last year. The milestone was a result of Etron’s position as a global leader in niche DRAMs, with products being continuingly adopted by both international and domestic customers. Demands from a variety of application fields, such as panel and digital TV, were growing recently.
