AI-driven computing power has fueled a growing demand for high-wattage power supplies, with high-quality USB PD3.2 Type-C cables rapidly entering the consumer market. Etron Technology (TPEx: 5351), through its subsidiary eEver Technology, has launched the USB PD3.2 controller IC – EJ732D. This innovative IC integrates a self-developed PD3.2 control unit and E-Marker into a single chip, delivering stable power management and protocol support to ensure high performance and compatibility. The EJ732D has already been adopted by leading domestic and international manufacturers, such as BizLink and WIESON, for certified cables. These developments include the production of a 2-meter USB-C to DP 2.1 active cable and a 1-meter passive cable, showcasing exceptional performance and broad application potential.
Cables utilizing the EJ732D fully support the VESA DisplayPort 2.1 standard, including high data rate modes such as UHBR10 (10 Gbps per lane), UHBR13.5 (13.5 Gbps per lane), and UHBR20 (20 Gbps per lane). The EJ732D supports up to four high-speed transmission lanes, enabling high-performance transmission of DP40 (40 Gbps), DP54 (54 Gbps), and DP80 (80 Gbps), with a maximum total bandwidth of 80 Gbps. This capability meets the demands of cutting-edge video display applications and system connectivity requirements, making it one of the most favored PD3.2 solutions in the market.
These cables fully support the VESA DisplayPort 2.1 standard, including high transmission rate modes such as UHBR10 (10 Gbps/channel), UHBR13.5 (13.5 Gbps/channel), and UHBR20 (20 Gbps/channel). The EJ732 supports up to four high-speed transmission channels, enabling efficient transmission at DP40 (40 Gbps), DP54 (54 Gbps), and DP80 (80 Gbps), with a total bandwidth of up to 80Gbps, meeting the demands of advanced display applications and system connectivity.
