It includes: (1) Transmission: two-output (1A+1C) power distribution management – EJ899V, (2) Device: PD fast charge and wireless charging integrated docking station – EJ899M, (3) Host: MUX+DP Alt Mode Application – EJ899I. Transmission: two-output (1A+1C) power distribution management – EJ899VThe EJ899V is able to control the intelligent distribution and transmission scheme of the two-output 1A+1C power. It complies with the latest USB PD3.0 specification of the USB-IF association, and supports Qualcomm QC3.0 certification. The operating voltage can be adjusted from 3.6V to 20V, with feedback voltage of 200mV. It selects the best voltage based on the equipment’s power requirements, thus maximizing the energy conversion efficiency. For USB-A output port: supports QC3.0 fast charge agreement (3.6V-6V/3A, 6V-9V/2A, 9V-12V/1.5A). For USB-C output port: it supports PD specification – It has a maximum transmitting power up to 100 watts (5 amps through 20 volts). It can use automatic identification, and can optimize charging speed of devices with each port. Device: PD and wireless charging integrated docking station – EJ899MEtron’s USB PD3.0 controller IC – EJ899M is widely used: docking stations, car chargers, power supplies for mobile, laptops, tablets, smart phones and all-in-one devices. The docking station application complete with integrated PD and wireless charging is the most attractive and sought after on the market. Wireless charging companies compete to integrate USB PD3.0 specification for seizing the opportunity of convergence of wireless and wired charging. The EJ899M supports dual port Type-C I/O, DP Alt Mode and dual port Type-C power communication.Host: MUX+DP Alt Mode Application – EJ899IPD3.0 can switch the role of power provider allowing consumers to prevent data corruption during a sudden disconnection of its power source. In addition, the EJ899I also conforms to DisplayPort (DP): the Digital Video Interface Standard, powered by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), it is available in the USB Type-C specification which supports 4K high quality display. The USB Type-C interface cable is equipped for the high-speed transmission of power, data, audio and video, making it imperative to synchronized multi-processing I/O signaling.
