The maximum transmission power of up to 100 Watts (20V at 5A) provides the highest speed data transfer rate of USB 3.1 10Gbps; high-speed transmission of Ultra High Definition audio and video, supporting 4K high quality display; and supporting I / O Interface of 6 pairs of more than four operations each. EJ899I high integration of single-chip solution simplifies the system design, and drastically reduces the cost of BOM material. Only a cable is required for the Type-C interface with the application device in order to simultaneously transfer high-speed USB3.1 data at high-speed transmission power. It also boasts Ultra High Definition (UHD) audio and video transmission capabilities, supporting 4K high quality display.Etron’s USB Type-C PD3.0 controller IC design solutions – EJ899I are fully compliant with USB-IF’s latest USB PD3.0 specifications. PD3.0 can switch the role of power provider allowing consumers to prevent data corruption during a sudden disconnect of its power source. In addition, the EJ899I also conforms to DisplayPort (DP): the Digital Video Interface Standard, powered by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), and it is available in the USB Type-C specification which supports 4K high quality display. The USB Type-C interface cable is equipped for the high-speed transmission of power, data, audio and video, making it imperative to synchronized multi-processing I/O signaling.
