(Taiwan GTSM: 5351) today announced that the company’s leading USB Type-C Switch and Power Delivery Semiconductor Controller EJ988— which supports (1) USB Type-C reversible connectors on both ends, permits (2) PD of 5 Amps at 20 Volts to reach a maximum of 100 watts, and provides (3) rapid data transfer speeds of up to USB 3.1 Gen2 10 Gb/s — received the Best Choice Golden Award of COMPUTEX 2015. The EJ988 is highly suitable for compact Mobile Devices and Wearables. Etron’s EJ988 Support USB Type-C Reversible Connectors on both ends. It Provides Rapid Data Transfer Speeds of up to USB 3.1 Gen2 10 Gb/s. as well as Permit PD of 5 Amps at 20 Volts to Reach a Maximum of 100 Watts. Besides, EJ988 employs compact architecture and small form factor for embedded system and mobile product design.
